Please help, New Onyko CS-525, as good as the previous CS-515??

Hi all, I’ve just joined this forum yesterday, and want to ask for your help for my question..

I’m planning to buy the new Onkyo’s mini system CS-525 which is the successor of the previous model, a multi award winning model CS-515 which also already reviewed in the review section and in some previous issues of WHF magazines.

I have great interest in this Onkyo product, and I am not intend to compare it to other mini system’s brands such as Denon, Yamaha, etc because I know their prices are always more expensive than Onkyo and I believe that the Onkyo’s sound quality is still comparable to them and even greater.

So..

Dear experts and other members, please advise me, whether the new CS-525 is worth buying and it is as good as the old CS-515 or not.. Because in my city the old model has no longer sold by the audio stores and already replaced by the new CS-525.

I'd love to tell you if the new Onkyo is as good as the double Award-winning CS515, but we haven't had one in for review yet. We have, however, just taken delivery of the new CS325 - the £200 baby brother system. Review of that due in a couple of weeks.

It's also worth bearing in mind that Denon is releasing its first new @£300 micro system in a few years very shortly - the Denon DM37DAB is due anytime soon and that's going to be a corking head-to-head with its Onkyo rival....

What's the 325 like then? I've got to order a b'day present for my in-laws either today or tomorrow so haven't got time to listen to it.
