Place Subwoofer in Rack?

Hi all I have a 2.1 stereo system and a Blok Classix 3000 rack which has a central speaker compartment. http://www.blokuk.com/blokclassixgallery.htm I am thinking about putting the sub in there to save space. I would appreciate some advice on whether this is a good idea. Many thanks Lewis

I would expect it to rattle and vibrate the cabinet which will be audible and very annoying as well as possibly effecting the other equipment that is housed within.

Try it. It may work but I would be surprised if it did not have a detrimental effect.

What kit do you have??

I wouldnt say this would be a good idea , i tried it once but vibrations not that pleasent . so no can not recomend it.

Kit BTW is Dynaudio BM6A MkII and BM9S.

I cant actually feel the subwoofer itself vibrating when in use which is why I asked the question.
