It's obviously better to have individual settings for each input, however the downside of running everything through my Onkyo 905 receiver is only one HDMI connection for every source to my TV. My sources via the 905 include:
[*]Sony BDP-S350 Blu-Ray/DVD player via HDMI (1080p)
[*]Virgin Media V+ Cable TV via HDMI (720p upscaled to 1080p by Onk 905)
[*]Home Theatre PC via HDMI (usually 1080p)
[*]PS3 via HDMI
[*]Wii via component (upscaled to 1080p)
Please can someone help with some settings for the TV. I don't fully understand the de-interlacing settings and when required. I don't particularly want to change a whole raft of settings everytime I watch from a different source, but at the same time want to get the best from my new TV.
Thanks for your advice.
