Anyone know anything about this pioneer blu ray player?

Is a review in the pipeline?

Anyone got one?

Will this one be reviewed? or is it just going to slip by the waste side?

The Oppo got reviewed I would not call that a general consumer product.

The pioneer is a available to buy in this country from reputable online shops.

Perhaps you could ask for one to review.

Being a Professional product designed for digital signage and display arrays I wouldn't expect it to perform any better than an LX52. The differences would most likely be in the durability of the unit and from the blurbs in the product releases the ability to loop specific time codes locations and compatibility with large multi-display splitter systems. It really doesn't look like a product in any way designed for consumer use.

That's the conclusion I come out with Tom, that I coud not see it being any better than the 52.

It's not very big either, and I can't see improvement's in DAC's or anything like that

It does play 30 frames per second, I don't know if that will improve things?

Well you'd be wrong then, it's a product designed for the consumer market, the V6000 isn't.

It's still aimed at the pro market.

Perhaps you could ask for one to review.

Why would I want to do that?

I have just re-read it, I can't see no difference from the first time I read it.

How about that review then?

It got mentioned in Home Cinema Choice Magazine.

Nothing, that was kind of my (and Andrew's) point. I was the only person to have replied to you and you responded with "ask for one to review then". At that point no-one from WHF had appeared in the thread, so you were asking me to get one for review, which is silly.

Does he work for you?

With MY reputation?

I thought it was a little strange.

Alright, alright, you needn't sound so appalled at the prospect! At least I can spell and punctuate, I wouldn't be that terrible a choice!

My emphasis was merely for gel's benefit, as anything less forthright appears to confuse

The Pioneer or so seems to be quite flexible in playback terms like the Oppo.

Seems to play alot.- that some people might find useful.

It's like we're joined at the hippocampus or something!
That must be terribly inconvenient. I believe there are some Australian surgeons who can help you with that.

Golly, that'll have us scurrying, then...

I did happen to read Home Cinema choice Mag today.

Interesting review on the pioneer bdp-lx52.

Four stars accross the board. 4 stars for performance, 4 for build 4 feature, overall 4 stars.

I think that is a flair reflection.
