I was once a proud owner of Logic DM101, pictured below. I sold it, in the late 80s early nineties?
Maintenance and constant alignment and all of the above you mentioned was a pain.

It's easy to be reminiscent, particularly the romanticism, the album art covers drew you in like a graphic novel and something to be said about the lure of the vinyl but modern digital is so, so good today, such as hi-res streaming or SACD/DSD recordings, I'm not missing it.

i was reminiscing at the weekend with an old friend , the whole ritual around vinyl and then having to stop to listen to an entire side of an album. it slows down the pace of life, no skips, It was great to site and just listen

Sell them all and buy a really good one, you can only listen to one at a time....

I thought about doing that - but the truth is that I more or less stopped using my Thorens 160S some time ago.
The 6 others I acquired FOC from 4 other people (including a return of my old Philips GA437 which is great)....I don't need a turntable......though I might not say no to a Technics 😆

The latest Thorens direct drive is a thing of beauty.....
