I have just bought a philips 9800w surround sound home cinema package online from a german company that converts all text to english. From the UK the philips would have cost £630 and i purchased it from germany for 687 euros and staggering £162 cheaper including delivery, than from the UK. Both products are identical & would have been delivered from an online only distributor as no uk shops have it on the shelf at this moment in time. The moral is if you can only buy online dont be afraid to check out euroland it can save a lot of money and the warranty is the same with most large brand names.

Good spot, and a bargain buy.

It's worth noting that some of the cheapest prices online (including Pixmania) are often European imports anyway.... All up to what you feel happy with. But do watch the warranty issue - and remember that if you want any element of service, this may not be for you!
