Is there any chance of a review of this pre/power amp pair? They look very promising and have been available for a couple of months, but my google-fu has failed to find any reviews, or even any mention apart from press releases.

I have to say I don't understand Peachtree's current model line-up. They dropped the 125SE which sat rather nicely between the 65SE and the 220SE. So they've now brought out a separate pre/power combo with less power than the 220SE but at several £100 more.

The lack of middle ground between the 65SE and 220SE seems to open a gaping hole for competitors to take advantage. The 220SE is a nice bit of kit, but I've heard that it's so brutish that it's very difficult to adjust the volume at lower levels especially with any accuracy and that just 8 or 9 o'clock gets pretty loud,

You'll be better off asking Peachtree audio if they intend to submit the items for review.

What Hi*fi? only review what is submitted to them by a manufacturer or distributor.

They had a previous pre/power combo, the NovaPre and Nova220 (the Nova220se is their integrated amp).

I would have thought a manufacturer would take note of critisisms like missing accuracy and fix in the new model... perhaps too optimistic though. But regardless, the kit looks nice and I'm just wondering when the first review will appear.
