Hi,

Having now brought my shinny new Onkyo I'm looking to get a good quaility stand to house it.

Given it's weight (about 28kgs) does any one know if the Partington Minim would suuport it? It's either that or the Atacama Equinox AVI.

Thanks in advance.

I have the (silver) Minim to house my Onkyo 875 and it looks excellent. It also has an adjustable middle shelf so I have given the Onkyo plenty of headroom. I have seen posts with concerns re the amp overheating but mine runs absolutely fine.

Paul and Andrew,

just out of interest have you got your tv's on the top shelves or hung? If on the shelf i presume you have your centre speaker on the shelf below or hung above the tv??

Also the equinox only has 217mm clearance between the glass shelves?? So you put the onkyo on top?

Im finding it quite frustrating searching for suitable racks!!

EDIT! I have been misreading the specs on the onkyo site and taking the carton size as the size of the unit!

Rack selection just became alot easier!

If someone has a dunce hat i have a stool to sit on! lol

I have it on the top shelf of the minim, with the speaker sitting at the base of the TV. This fortunately fits perfectly so does not interefere with screen - you will need to be careful depengin on size of centre speaker and your make of TV. Onkyo is on bottom shelf.
