Hi Clare - I was thinking of teaming up a top-end Panasonic cinema system with the new TH42/46PZ85B, but (thankfully) your words of caution in another post regarding poor Panasonic speakers have put me off - or at least partly. I am interested in using the Viera-link technology for TV/DVD/Cinema system, (and possibly Blu-Ray a bit further down the line), so my question to you is, would all the Panasonic hardware still talk to each other via the single-remote feature if I bought and installed better quality (compatible) speakers? And if so. what would you recommend? Thanks.

Regards a cinema system, the new Onkyo 606 (£400) is Viera Link Compatible and would make a fine addition (just been reviewed on this site). You can then team the Onk up with any 5.1 speaker package that meets your budget/styling requirements.

I'm just about to upgrade my whole system and I think I'm going into a Panny phase myself with the new TH42PZ81, a BD-50, the 606 and a set of BR2s.
