Completely agree.

I don't know if this is the best tv you can buy, but it's easily the best I've ever owned.

I've added a 2TB HDD, which means I can record/pause/rewind. The Smart TV side is easily the best I've used.

Neither have I mate. Had mine a couple of weeks now and it is awesome.Have the Samsung UBD-8500 UHD Blu-Ray Player attached to it and the picture is again Fantastic. The Set even makes SD channels very watchable when I have to use them.I phoned the John Lewis Shop to measure the Stand Footprint before purchasing it.In the end I got it for £2499 thanks to a price match that GEL passed on to me.Fan noise on mine is almost inaudible unless I get to within 3 or 4 inches of the screen, So not an issue.Well pleased,coming from a 10 year old 50" Panasonic Plasma that died on me.That also had fans which were near silent too.Mind you my set sits in a bay window with plenty of space behind and around it.
