Panasonic SC-PMX800 VS Denon M41

I was originally looking for a Denon M41, but they are hard to find. Also, I heard some negative things on this forum.

I talked with a guy at a nearby stereo store (although not in my town), and he recommended the Panasonic SC-PMX800.

I haven't seen many reviews, but they are about the same price.

Would anyone recommend the Panasonic?

I am not familiar with either but if you search this forum I believe you will find there are a few that question the reliability of the Denon.

I suspect the Panasonic may sound even better. Their mini systems were always ace. Especially those with the two tweeter speakers.

Yes, I see the Panasonic has only been around for about a year - maybe we will start to hear more about it.
It's got (more than usual) Technics involvement on the audio circuitry.
Looks a good choice to me.

Which might explain why the OP says they're hard to find (though plenty of stuff is scarce now of course).
