Panasonic 42pz82 or Pioneer PDPSX4280D

I don't upgrade things much so when i buy it had better last a good while, regarding the above 2 TVs the Panny has full HD and the Pioneer not, if watching a blueray, playing a game or just on freeview would the picture on the Panasonic be a good deal better than the Pioneer or is the Pioneer that much better than anything that when all the rest have full HD, they merely catch up on the Pioneer , just debating if it worth the extra £500.

Yes, it is so good that the SD Pioneer does, IMHO, match and surpass the pic on the Panny. Is it worth more...... well, thats the 500 pound question , isn't it ? To me no, to you maybe ! Go and look for yourself........and don't take the Mrs.
