Panasonic 37s - should I go for Full HD LCD or HD Ready Plasma??

I'd be really grateful for your opinions on whether to get a Pani TH37PX80B or TH37LZD800. I've had different suggestions proposing that the LCD800 model would out perform the plasma and also that the plasma will give more natural colour but doesn't have great sound. Currently we have SKy+ but are planning to get a PVR when they start making one with FreeSatHD, so for a while we will receive basic Freeview. My husband enjoys all his sport so this is a real issue for him. Thanks.

If you're planning a diet of largely SD (and remember, Freesat only has a limited amount of HD content), i'd go with the plasma, and use the cash you save for a discrete extra sound system - maybe a 2.1 package, or a soundbar - if you feel the sound isn't enough for you.

I got JL Bristol to price match S&V last week for the PX80 at £ 574 including the 5 year warrenty and free delivery.
