out of touch needs help choosing sound system

Hi folks I got my self great big new tv samsung but sound on it is not so great ..... was looking at sound systems to go with sky HD +tv and have got my self all mixed up I do not need a DVD player just good set speakers etc was looking at creative 750s but does it have a decoder built in ? ... Logitech Z-5500 , sony etc any ideas room size 21 ft x 14 ft sq......... thanks Y I MAN

You may be better posting in the Home Cinema forum for this enquiry.

The speakers you have mentioned already are for computer systems and would not be capable of filling your room with sound. You should be looking at an AV receiver and a set of speakers to create a decent set up.

How much are you looking at spending?
