Hello

Sorry for "one of those questions"...

Currently running a 2m red on my RP1, would a change to the AT440mlb be worthwhile or should I just continue to enjoy what I have?

If you are enjoying what you have, I would not personally, then stick with it. The move to AT could be a sideways one. There are better options out there.

At that price range, stick with what you like, as you said you are enjoying it, may be look for an up grade if you think its needed later, but be careful, upgrades can some times be just a side ways move.

Slide on a 2M Blue stylus to replace the Red.

AudioTechnica - Better channel separation, wider soundstage, slightly diffuse.

Ortofon - Better central image and focus, more drive, more 'in-between-speakers'.

Imo, AT is more hifi, Ortofon more musical.
