Optoma HD65 vs Panasonic PT-AE900E

Hello, I currently own an optoma hd65 but I suffer a lot of rainbow effect. I am considering the possibility of changing to an second hand old LCD model Panasonic PT-AE900E. Any idea if I will loose a lot of quality? Any other LCD possibility for around 300 pound second hand or 500 new? Thanks!

however this is still a dlp projector - i had the hd65 and stepped up to this when it first came out - def better projector and great price at the min - i can still see rainbows but have to look for them or move my eyes across screen really quickly although don't really notice them! Might be worth seeing if you can get a demo somewhere.
