Hello all thanks for replying in advance for anyone who takes the time to give their opinions or advice, I currently have an older denon 1909avr with some ms 904 connected to the front and some tanned v1 connected to the rear sat on some atacama nexus stands and just wondering what the difference would be if I swapped over the tannoy with the ms, I watch alot of movies but also do listen to some music aswell, im pressuring I might have better sound with the tannoys for stereo but don't want to loose anything on the hc side of things. Thanks again All just don't want to go down the route of pulling it all out before hearing some opinions here.

Do you have a sub with your system Dave? I ask as you may not lose as much as you think if you have sub producing the bass and your front standmounts are set as 'small'.
Unless anyone has or used to have that speaker combination, most readers are going to advise you listen for yourself. Can you just move the Tannoys and place them on top of your MS's just to get an idea of how they sound in stereo?

Hi JonathanRD, thanks alot for your reply, I do have a sub and have gone ahead and reconfigured the speakers as I thought and as you said I would have to just listen and see! And in stereo it all sounds great a good improvement on my previous setup, yet to try the results for movies but will try tonight and let you know!
