Onkyo DVSP406 - upscale to 1080p via component?

Hi,

Does anyone know if the Onkyo DVSP406 can upscale dvd's to 1080p via it's component outputs.
The only info I can find states 1080p upscaling via hdmi but doesnt mention component output.

Im not 100% on this but i would imagine that it can only do 1080i via component

Thanks for your reply Gareth.

I'm looking at buying the Yamaha dsp-ax763 which only has 2 hdmi sockets, if the Onkyo can upscale via component to 1080p then that would be perfect for me. If not then I will have to look at pushing my budget and going for the dsp-ax863 or the Sony STRDA2400ES.
Does anyone in the What HiFi team know? (I have looked on the Onkyo website btw).
