Hello everyone,

Can I use the "pre out" ouputs and "main in" ipnuts of Onkyo A-9150 to connecting between them a graphic equalizer (Onkyo EQ-201)?

The user guide contains only the following information:
Rated RCA Output Level and Impedance - 1 V/500 Ω (PRE OUT)
There is nothing specified for MAIN IN ...

This is part of the flow chart in the service manual:

This is from the user manual:

I really like the EQ-201 equalization and my old A-9377 amplifier. My problem is that I can apply it to only one (or two through the equalizer itself) line inputs.

After some thought, I realized that in fact, when I want to use the MAN-IN inputs, at the same time I can not choose the LINE-IN inputs not A-9150.
Can this be circumvented in any way - thanks for any suggestions or comments.

As you've found, the 'pre out' 'main in' arrangement on your particular amp is unsuitable (and even on amps where it would be possible, pre /main is not an ideal way to connect an equaliser).

If you want to equalise multiple sources into your A-9150 then you'd need to connect the output of something like this:
to the input of the equaliser and the output of that into any A-9150 line input.
(Not so tidy, but the only way to achieve your objective).
