Hello . A lot of info is available to bridge ( bi-wire ) the front speakers . But very few about bridging a centre speaker . On my Onkyo 905 , I will bi-amp the front speakers ( Front with Surround Back ) . Having no surround speaker yet , I still have my Surround L+R ( and my Zone 2 L+R ) terminal posts available . Can I bridge ( or bi-amp ) my PMC CB6 ( fed by the center ) using these unused terminal posts ? and if so , would it improve the system ?

Thank you .

No, there's no option to bi-amp the center speaker on the Onkyo like there is the fronts. You can bi-wire it though i.e. hook both sets of terminals on the center speaker up to the center terminal posts on the Onkyo (if you're using banana plugs, you can get cable which is terminated with 4 plugs on one side and 2 on the other, or do this yourself, making this easier). It's debatable whether this is worth doing though, some people claim bi-wiring is worth it, others don't.
For myself, at the moment, I'm still single wired but am considering in the future bi-amping my fronts (I also have the 905) and bi-wiring my center to see if it improves things. Will probably be a month or so before I get round to trying this out though.

Thank you , Professorhat . I know that Andrew has the 875 and the CB6 . Could he tell us if he tried this ?

Did have all three fronts biwired, and have tried biamp/bridge on the front L/R in the past, with good results.

Now the centre is biwired, and the front L.R are fed single-wired via Musical Fidelity 550K Superchargers.

Sounds laaaarvely...
