Onkyo 608 & Samsung PS50C680 niggling issue! Please Help!

Hi there my system runs through my Onkyo 608 Amp which i am generally delighted with but there is one really niggling issue which hopefully someone may have the answer to.

Basically when i switch the Amp/TV/Sky HD on the everything works then after about 5 secs my Amp switches input from Sky HD to TV/CD even though i have nothing going into this input? It happens every time even though everything turns on correctly and the picture/sound come through fine but 5 sec later it switches for no reason at all?

Anyone have any idea whether it is to do with the TV or the Amp or more importantly does anyone know what i can do to fix the problem?

What inputs are you using to connect Sky to the amp? Are there any other devices connected to the optical / digital inputs or even to the RCA's? From memory, the 608 (I have a similar amp) prioritises it's input signal based on connection type. It might be that you need to specify what connection type to use for the TV/CD selection.

Also, if everything is connected via hdmi, it could possibly be a 'handshake' issue between the 2 units. Some people turn on the source, then tv, then amp to solve this issue.
