Nokia 520 Gmail

Anyone been able to set up gmail on this device, Vodafone are hopeless in support

My mum has a Nokia 520.

Tap Settings[/b] >> email + accounts[/b] >> add an account[/b], then tap the account you wish to add.

This may work with other account but not gmail, even though they thoughtfully included a Gmail button in the set up.

I did get this to work in the end with settings found online relating to the incomming and outgoing mail servers, which neither Nokia or Vodafone technical support functions could help with........go figure

That's strange! Because even my mum has a gmail account which I could set up quite easily.
