thanks for the reply, how much would i be looking to pay with a NAS that has a built in ripper and is it worth having this feature? As i said i wont need more than 2TB of space and ideally do not want to spend over £200 on this.

On the note of the streamer im looking to go for the Marantz NA-S11 from what iv read it is a fantastic streamer. However i need to find one second hand in either Gold or silver at a decent price as brand new this will be well out of my budget!

Anyone had any experiences with the NA-S11?

Iv been looking at the seagate central NAS device i think this will be suitable for me 3TB of space good performance and fairly small nice looking device. Iv seen this one for £109 for 3TB which is very reasonable, just wanted to check that this can stream music and has all the necessary features i need to be able to use with my streamer?
