I have just changed to BT and have their 3rd gen homehub. I have my apple time capsule working well through the homehub, but I can't get my external WD HD to be recognised. With my last router, I used the time capsule to broadcast on the network and ran the HD through the USB on the back with a powered hub. This no longer appears to work going through the homehub as router by USB to the Apple Time Capsule to the HD by a further USB.
Advice needed on how to set this up? Would it best to put the HD straight to the Homehub? Would this not create other difficulties? Plus, will it be able to share the port with the time capsule using the powered hub? Only one USB input on the homehub so seems only solution. Advice in the right direction please.
