Naim UnitiLite vs Denon CEOL Piccolo

Given the thread about the Naim SuperNait, will the £300 Piccolo be as good as the £1000 UnitiLite? What will the £700 extra give me, except the pleasure of a very nice green light?

For me, the Denon. It's amazing what you can get for that kind of budget.

err hello!

i think you have Unitilite & UnitiQute mixed up, the Unitilite costs £1650 and hasn't even reached dealers yets and the UnitiQute costs £1000 and IMHO I think the Naim will be in a different league than the Denon.

Correct Stevie! To match UnitiLite, the Denon owner would have to step up to £500 CEOL!

But on a serious note, I would only like to see some evidence why my money should be spent on the more premium alternative.
