I am setting up a budget turntable system and I have a pair of Polk RTA-11T (Frequency response: 29Hz–20kHz ±3dB. Sensitivity: 90dB/W/m. Nominal impedance: 6 ohms. Amplifier requirements: 30–250W)

My understanding is that these speaker perform better with lots of power. Can an NAD D 3020 safely drive them? I am not looking to blow the windows out of my house so maximum volume is not a concern.
Thank you in advance.

It is safe enough, though obviously from the spec your speakers could cope with a greater output.
It is possible to damage speakers if you severely over drive a less powerful amp, but as long as you don’t turn it up so much that there is obviously distortion then you’ll be ok.
The 90dB sensitivity means they don’t need much power to play pretty loudly!
