NAD 310 Stereo Amp-1 channel considerably low volume

Would appreciate help.

I have Nad 310 just brought down from the loft and noticed that 1 channel does not work properly ,extremely low volume..May be did not notice it earlier

could it be one of the POTs or capacitors??

Hi there

My old Nad 302 did the same very occasionally. I just pressed the inputs a few times, twiddled the balance knob and cranked up the volume. Not particularly 'engineering' of me but did the trick!

Thanks but that does not work and have cleaned all the pot contacts as well..Have heard old NAD's sufferred from Soldering probs; will give it a go ..

I mean if I keep one channel volume on max and another on regular it does the trick but want to sort the problem as probably will miss on listening experience...
