some really good pickys gentlemen there really good but i bet you cant appreciate how good it is until your infront of the tv's.cheers david
 
It definitely is switching by itself! :O. Pretty cool if you think about it.

Just ts checked my contrast again and it's saying 83 for day!
 
That is high obviously to counteract the bright room.

High contrast gives the picture a lot of zing but makes white very bright

Yep, white is bright!

The TV didn't switch automatically this morning! I have just had to switch to ISF day.
 
I am watching this on Sky at the moment, and the pictures are amazing. Man of Steet it is and I would say a reference quality disc! Got some more...

some cool pickys gel 8) ,i would love to see a calibrated tv in the flesh i dont know any one that has one ,or that dosent live 200 miles away:boohoo: i would love to check it out when i spoke to steve withers and spoke about calibrating my pioneer he said that all tv's benfit from calibration but he did say that the pioneers are so acurate out of the box but felt it wasnt worth it as of the age of my tv.

:cheers: They are some of my favourite ones. 🙂 Where abouts do you live? Quite a few on here have had it done now, perhaps one of us can give you a demo? Yep, Steve is probably right.
 
thanks guys maybe might be able to sort someting out with ellisdj,yes just remebered seeing anoyher post some time ago about him living in essex,i would like to get my screen calibrated.maybe me and ellisdj can sort something out in the future.:cheers: david

Just been watching Hop on channel 4hd with the kids, and the picture looked fantastic, once calibrated these sets must look amazing, its hard to believe it could look better.

Yep, I loved my before calibration too, and now I am enjoying it all over again with an even better picture.
 
I am looking into getting mine done soon, just got alot going on at the moment, I did ring the company bigboss told me about, but they only calibrate tvs they have sold, when I am ready I will try who done yours gel.
