Great looking setup. It's nice to be at a point where you can sit back and enjoy for awhile.

Lovely looking system. Bet it sounds even better...that Rega combo is special.

Very nice and a really good pioneer blu ray player there I see.

o yes, i love my pioneer, i can't wait to see what they have in store for us this year.....

Thanks igglebert, yes it sounds fantastic, even better when the neighbours go out and i can crank it up a bit.

next upgrade = detached house.

sweet system, the rega synergy and those rx6 speakers are superb, nice one

I would raise the Mira up to get more ventillation underneath it. I felt mine improved when I put it onto four childrens wooden blocks.

thanks for the info i have some more tenderfeet so i will give it a try

Brillant setup! Albeit you need a bigger stand to accomodate your sky hd box. I love those interconnects. I also noticed that your subwoofer is connected using the high level neutrik cable...perfect integration to your fronts for a more accurate bass performance.

Thanks liujol, your right about the stand it all started with the tv and blu-ray and then snow balled from there, i am on the look out for a new one but there no rush for that.

i have taken your advise and got a new stand which can now accomodate all my gear. i will upload some new photo's once i find my camera charger

Fantastic speakers btw. I have two questions though.

I noticed you have two sets of wires running from the terminals for speaker cable at the rear of the amp. The second thinner cables are for the sub i'm guessing as you have no pre out connection present. Surely this route is abit risky for the amp?

Also the manner in which you connect the odysseys into the rear of the speakers, positive top terminal, negative bottom terminal...is this just preference? They say there is slight improved response in treble if both cables are placed in the top terminals (so I have heard...but not what i hear)...see what I did there?

Anyway, just thought it looks odd.

Im abit of a perfectionist when it comes to setups, took me hours toeing in the CM7's of mine for perfect symmetry at my sitting position. All for the love of hifi.

Did I mention I love those RX6's, ah yes I did...

Great set up, love the MA's.

What about a matching centre?

He would have to invest in a processor, he is using 2 channel stereo

Looking at your photos again and I'm starting to want to chop in my RS6s for the new ones! However, I know that would be a waste and I might as well wait for the Golds to be updated. They really are lovely though.

One question, is the sub used for music or just for home cinema? I personally don't see the need for a sub in my system (for music). Oh and why did you get the Rel as opposed to the MA sub?

hi scott

my subwoofer is connected using the high level neutrik cable which is the 3 thin wires you can see attached to my speaker terminals, they will not harm my system at all, in fact it gives perfect integration to my front speakers for a more accurate sub bass performance.

as for the speaker connections this is just personal preference, i have tried various combo's and this just seems to work for me.

i know what you mean about getting your system right, it can sometimes be a complete mare, but once you get it right its very rewarding, my mrs is always having a go at me for the odd tweek here and there she swears i have ocd lol.

i use the sub for music, i was a bit sceptical that a sub could improve on an already excellent sound but i was blown away by it, i have the sub connected through a high level neutrik cable which gives me perfect integration to my front speakers for a more accurate bass performance, the monitor audio sub is ok but IMO the REL is better. plus i got it for a bargain price of £280

have you been given a date for the golds to be released? i was told it would'nt be for some time yet if at all....
