Music streaming from PC to HiFi

Hi there,

As I am always moving,therefore I have decided to rip all my vinyls into FLACs (24/96, 24/192). Now I am just searching for a solution to play flac files without loosing to much detail/quality. My amp is Naim XS, budged is around 400-500£.

At the moment i am considering this:

a) Squeezebox or similar players -> amp (read quite a lot of good reviews, any experience with naim system).

b) Squeezebox+ external dac (Caiman or TC-7520) -> amp

c) wifi audio transport (Onkyo UWL-1) + external dac (Caiman or TC-7520) -> amp

d) any other suggestions....

I'm currently looking at the Squeezebox Duet and to me it has a decent enough DAC with 24/96. Any other comments welcomed???

Wait for a couple of weeks until the squeezebox touch comes out....from what I have read its a cracking box at about 250 squids. Supposed to be up with the transporter quality wise , if it is then its a bargain...Clikky
