Hello everybody,

I am writing this as I noticed when playing through the turntable, that I can hear music playing also when the input selected is not the one of source. For example I have amp on input 3 and phono amp is plugged on input 4. The sound is very low but you can still hear the track playing...is that a normal behaviour?

My amp is a Jadis DA50 Signature tube amp.

Thanks a lot

Sounds like some breathrough in the input switching, more likely to be audible when using the turntable due to the comparatively small signal level coming from the record player compared to other line sources.

Happens in quite a lot of amps to a greater or lesser extent, IME.

Thanks for the answer Andrew.

Ok, so it's a design problem? Or just normal behaviour?

Yes it only happens with turntable...

Sometimes in a quiet room you can hear music directly from the stylus in the groove of the LP if the amp is switched to another input that has no music playing .

Try listening closely to your turntable to see if that is the source of the music or is the music coming from the speakers themselves ?
