mordaunt short lacking bass

i currently have mordaunt short 906 floorstanders and they seem to be lacking bass. there about 14inches from rear wall would moving towards wall improve bass?

I guess your's is not the 'i'. Yes, the older 906 had bass issue, but I felt they're very musical and gel well with CA products. Having said that, yes, place them closer to wall, will surely improve on the bass front.

moving nearer the wall might not "improve" bass, but should certainly increase the amount of it.
