Bought a Monster HTS 800 Home Theatre Power Center o n Ebay

The seller graciously refunded me the money after i found

when i plugged it in the eternal none user switchable alarm went off.

Now i already own two' which i bought at boot sales. which never given me this problem and they been in use a number of years

I never even realized they had an alarm inside them. which disabled the the device if the device has a problem

Surfing the net i see a number of people have experienced this on American forums

one person said they have a life long warranty if you send them back to Monster

they have a no quibble guarantee and send you a new one.

Has this ever happened to anyone here .' what did you?

I had to send one back recently, it cost £30 to ship the thing over to them as it is in Europe somewhere which is non refundable, but apart from that they exchanged it for a better newer model aswel...

they will ask for you to email a receipt as proof of purchase before you send it, so if you brought it 2nd hand they might not replace it.
