Am I right in assuming that, by the inherited design/construction(separated components et al), it will always be a better solution to have two monoblocks for hifi that a single/one box amp (ceteris paribus)?
Some of the best sounding cost no object amps are integrateds theres no writen in stone fact seperates are better at all but if lots of power is wanted then power supplies get massive and so does heat so placing parts in seperate boxes can help in that regard.
A superb single integrated will always sound better than mediocre separates, but good separates will always sound better than a mediocre, even good, integrated.
