Monitor Audio RS8 Speakers.. breaking them in!

Whats the best way to do this?

I've had the speakers running since 9pm yesterday on the same CD and slightly upping the volume notch a bit, but having to listen to the same thing is now starting to get on my nerves.

I presume you can't break them in with volume on 0 can you lol.

Any tips?

Right now it's paired with Arcam Diva 85.... got to half way volume on the amp and it still sounds a bit weak unless I turn the laptop volume up a lot beyond 60 which I thought you weren't supposed to..

just play the music you like the speakers will run in anyway

you dont have to play the same cd at all

Reverse the speaker connections on one speaker and place them face to face

Yes, you can do as crimsondonkey says, with a blanket or duvet over them to muffle the sound some more, but I'm with one off on this one - just play them and they will loosen up gradually.
