Marantz SR-7010 and 4K Upscaling Question

How do I make sure that the receiver is upscaling to 4K or force the receiver to upscale to 4K?

Source is an el cheapo Samsung BDP and display is a 2014 Samsung 6-series 4K "smart" TV.

It's a Sammy BD-J5700 bottom of the range model, BTW.

But it does have a curved front....

Leave your TV to do the upscaling. Samsung TV's upscaling is amongst the best in my experience.

Set i/p scaler to off in the Marantz. Page 217 of the manual.
