Marantz KI Pearl Lites seem great value?

I have contacted Spendor about using some bungs to tame the bass response a bit. Also experimenting with speaker placement and isolating electronics.Its a lovely well equipped CD player but be aware of the strong bass response!

Not sure the Pearl Lite is still available, but I use PMC DB1i speakers.........superb! Before that I used B&W 685 which sounded...............superb! (More detail from the PMC though(.

Ditto! PM KI/SA KI Pearl Lites + PMC DB1 Gold. Fantastic little speakers that consistently outperform their tiny dimensions; also sound good at low volume. Sublime pairing with the Marantz. Very happy with this combination, level of detail is astonishing and all the bass I need, (previous speakers were MA RX2). I don't change hi-fi that regularly so this will be a keeper for the next 20 years!
