Hi guys, some may remember my post last year regarding an old system ( Pioneer A400X Amp, Marantz CD52Se, & Tannoys 607’s) I dug out to have a listen to before going over to headphones only! Circumstances have changed which means I have my old system up & running again. I have new speaker cable & have invested in good quality Interconnects. The family have even bought me a new Beresford Bushmaster Dac.

Here’s my problem, how the hell do I connect it to my CD player then to Amp & with what? I know there’s a few lads with the Marantz CD Player so if any of them have done the same maybe they could offer assistance. Bit embarrassed asking but put it down to age. 😳 Any help gratefully received.

Your CD player has a digital output at the back in the form of a solitary phono socket, probably labelled something obvious like 'digital out'. Use a phono-to-phono cable to connect this to one of the coaxial inputs on your Bushmaster DAC. Then connect the outputs from the Bushmaster to the CD input on your A400.

Major your a hero, i feel even more embarrassed 😳 😳 especially when its staring you in the face. Thanks a lot.
