Hi folks
Hopefully somebody on these forums can assist with a small problem I am having.
I have a Denon AVR 1910 and Sony BDP S370. However, I keep loosing sound when my blu-ray player switches to True HD sound. The problem happens on multiple disks so it's not a disk problem.
Basically if i insert a Blu-Ray movie into my Sony BD player I can hear sound whilst the adverts or main menu screen is playing. This is usually just in normal dolby surround. However, when the main movie starts and the HD sound turns on 80% of the time I have video but no sound. The light on the front of my Denon says it in True HD.
To correct this I have to select the Blu-Ray input again on my control i.e re-select the blu-ray setting the Denon is already on whilst the movie is playing and then bingo most of the time the sound returns as normal. Sometime I have to do this twice for it to return.
I don't loose sound once it's on just when it first kicks in (or not as the case is) it seem to forget to turn the True HD sound on.
Anyone know why this is happening??
Thanks
Simon
