Sudden loss of sub bass

Hello, I have the Warfedale 220s paired up to a Aiyama A07 Pro, which is connected to my phone via RCA to 3.5mm aux. Last night I wondered how my speakers would sound if i moved them on the other side of my room, so I moved them. I didn’t like the sound so I moved them back to where they were and now the sub bass has disappeared. Everything else about the speakers sound fine including mid and upper bass but that sub bass is just not there anymore. I even did a frequency sweep and the sub bass starts and sounds completely normal at 34hz and then at 38hz from there on it just fades away. I’ve tried unplugging the amp which didn’t work. I rewired the speakers and that didn’t work. I’ve tried adjusting the speaker placement because when I put them back it wasn’t exactly perfect placement but not enough of a difference to cause part of the sub bass to fade out (didn’t work either). And lastly to ensure it wasn’t the RCA cable I tried using BT but the problem was still there. I also tried increasing the bass knob more than usual and that helps but on some songs it’s quite clear that the missing frequencies are still missing. So is there anything else I could potentially do to fix this? Or does it sound like the amp or speakers are broke?

It might be a good idea to check if the wires are well connected from amp to loudspeaker to avoid that there is a polarity issue. As a second step I would look for settings at the amp that could cause the issue and perhaps try a different input source.

After that it might be wise to connect them to another amp and see if that gives the same result. If that would be the case, then offering them for repair would probably my choice.

Since writing this I did re wire the other speaker and that didn’t work, I’m also 100% sure they’re correctly wired.

The amp is a small class D one, so there’s no settings on it. The only things I can control from it are turning it on and off, the inputs (RCA or BT, problem exists in both) and the bass, treble, and volume knobs.

Unfortunately I don’t have any other passive speakers or amps as this is my first setup, so unless I’m making some comical error, one or the other somehow broke within that 5-10 minute period. With that being said, given the information here do you think the issue is more likely with the amp or the speakers? Do be more specific, when I do a frequency sweep, the bass comes in correctly at 34 hz and plays fine until 38Hz where it fades out. The region between 38hz and 55hz are low volume so you might as well say they’re missing. But in real world listening the speakers sound perfectly normal, both play perfect stereo, the mids and highs sound fine, they play bass fine, but on those deeper bass notes its clear that the region I mentioned just isn’t being presented as it should. Also recently, the speakers made small static noise when I turn the volume up and once when I turned the bass up. This isn’t happening every time I do it and the static isn’t loud or annoying but it is a new phenomenon.
