Logitech Harmony 1000 questions

Hi all

Just acquired above remote to replace an ageing 525 and have a couple of questions.

When setting up the remote on Harmony's website there is a section to choose the clock display format (12/24 hour) but for the life of me I cannot

find the said clock display on the remote - any ideas?

Secondly when I place the remote in the charging cradle a really naff slideshow appears and I cannot see how to shut it down - again any thoughts?

The remote is a USA model if that makes any difference.

I had the 1000 and now have the 1100, never got to grips with the clock.

The slide show is changeable when you connect the 1000 to you computer and run the software.

Unfortunately there is no online manual and, it appears, never has been.

I realize that I can change the contents of the slideshow for personal pictures but I would like to jettison it completely if possible.

By the way do your remotes make a high pitched "squealing" noise when placed in the cradle and still active (goes off when remote goes

into sleep mode)?
