The latest mag has given me food for thought.I've a Panasonic Th37-PX70B that I've had for two years, viewing is a combination of freeview SD and blu-ray with an occasional upscaled DVD, this TV has been great.

I'm after good SD performance and (As close as is reasonable) a smooth cinematic full HD 24 FPS experience, I have a good sound set up so the TV's performance in that area is unimportant, viewing is mostly from straight on at just under 4 metres.

I've got the chance of a Panasonic TH42-PZ80B at £500 (less than a year old and as new) but the review orf the LG 42LH5000 has given me food for thought.

It's £200 difference, what's the better TV for what I watch? I've always been a plasma fan but I'm reconsidering that one.......

Thanks!!!

Solved the conundrum and bought the Pannie, I've yet to see a Panasonic that I've not liked...........

The £240 final difference is going towards a BD80 to replace my Sharp HP20 blu ray.

Money well spent hopefully!
