Hi all

I've ripped al my cd's to flac, turned a mini laptop into a music server using openelec - I know there are other options, like daphile, but I want to be able to work offline - and am now looking to buy a hifi installation to connect the laptop to.

These I've considered so far:

* nad d3020 + dali zensor 3

* Kef x300a

Momentarily I tend toward the nad + dali's, although I find the kef's visually very appealing - nad gets slightly better reviews though.

What do you guy's suggest in this price range? Other and better options? I'm willing to spend a (little) bit more if it guarantees a better experience. I will only use this to listen to stereo music, no surround/movie.

Cheers!

I decided to go for the x300a and subwoofer, but I did not compare them to the NAD + Dali combination. Other speakers that are recommended many times are those from Genelec and AVI.
