Kandy K2 Remote

Just got an ex-demo Roksan Kandy K2 CDP. I have my speakers set perfectly in front of my seating position but have the source and amp to one side. So my seat is prob around 60 degrees and 12 foot from the CDP, and the remote will not work. Yet just 2 steps forward and now more like 45 degrees and 8 foot, it works perfectly. Is this usual ?

if its not a directionality issue then it is probably the batteries fading. the fact that when you reduce the distance and increase the angle the remote now works somewhat confirms this imo...

It is usual. I have the same issue with my K2 player. This highly praised remote is actually just plain bulky and clumsy. I would prefer Leema's three button remote 🙂

The player itself is wonderful though, enjoy!

Agree, great player but over the top remote.
Too bulky, heavy & complex, be nice if they did an alternative basic remote.
