I had a K2 amp (older version) and really enjoyed it, nice sweet treble very non fatiguing sound.

I hadn't even listened to the MK 1 before buying it off ebay, the MK 2 is supposed to be better so I wouldn't worry.

i very nearly bought the mark 1s just before i bought my 603 but used the money for something else, and loved the pairing..........i am told the bt amp is a step up, though it only got 4 stars in whf.....though really good reviews elsewhere

What was wrong with your sound before?

Wouldn't worry about only getting 4 stars on here. Having heard the original K2 and the 603 (not together), if you are not chuffed by the Kandy, I'll change my username to 'bigwings_lynda'. *i-m_so_happy**biggrin*

IIRC think it was two-fold: First, he wasn't taken with the Audiolab presentation. And, secondly, he wanted to cut down on boxes.

Splash the cash, regardless of whether it's the MKI or II version. Even the MKI retailed at £3,500, so should be a hefty upgrade to your Creek.

fingers crossed! I got sum1 coming round to see the creek, if i manage to sell it . I got an agreed deal on tucana ii for £1500. I contacted Mellory (1 of the founder of leema) about the warranty and he responded to my mail in 15 mins, gave all the information i needed. I mean, this is some service.

Yup, Leema Acoustics are a fantastic little company. When I had the headphone socket issue with my Pulse they paid for collection, repair and delivery. I've got nothing but huge respect for the two owners.

That is very good deal, I paid £1190 for an immaculate MK1.

Not a roksan fan though. Hopefully you won't lose much money if you sell on like I did after 2 weeks.
