JBL onbeat xtreme problems

Hi all!

I've had a jbl onbeat xtreme for the past month and I've realised there is an occasional poppping noise coming from the tweeters. This happens when my iphone 4 is plugged in via the dock connector. The thing is it only happens somedays. I don't know maybe its picking up interference or its the bad wiring in my house or the dock socket on my phone is dusty?

On a seperate note when my iphone is docked the volume bar does not disappear from the screen as it should do. Its just there. I've tried with my friends iphone and it happens to his aswell. (I think this to do with apple's software though as when I dock my old ipod touch the volume bar disappears as it should do)

Any help would be appreciated

Have you tried using a different electrical socket? It could be rfi from a refrigerator or freezer, or even from the tube lights or spots.
