Is warranty transferable?

Hi guys I have been bought a panny blu ray player but have no need for one, since i use the ps3, but i would just like to know whether warranty's from internet retailers are transferable or not?

I guess it may well vary from retailer to retailer, and between warranties. The details should be on the documentation or the retailer's website.

for a warenty to be valid you need proof of purchase, a receipt. No recipt no warrenty..

Read that as you wish.

In anything I've ever got fixed under warranty, I've never, ever had to produce a receipt. Which is a good job since they normally go in the bin.
