Is 50 watts (@ 8 ohms) per channel enough?

My experience: I have 45+45W amp (51+51 real watts I read in a german review) and power is more than enough for my 3x4 m room and my listening habits. DM 602's 90 dB sensitivity maybe helps, anyway I usually listen to 9-10 o'clock, 11 is already too loud for me. I haven't ever tried 12 o'clock (and my neighbours won't allow it anyway

I would love to have a Luxman L-550A II with all of it's 20 Watts per channel of pure class A power (8 ohms).
