Seriously, if it's not working, you deserve a refund and it should be well in warranty unless bought off of some geezer down the local boozer.

Reapairs can be done yourself if neccessary though.

I have tryed to reset it by slyding the lock on off and pushing center button and menu button but nothing happens

I will . I have been a bit busy moving my Son into his new flat hard work but very rewarding 🙂

had the same problem with 2 of my ipods, I returned them under warranty and got a new one, you will too. This occurs usually when the ipod battery drains all the way, next time just remember not to charge your ipod at the last minute.

My iPod's done exactly that and recharged without a hitch. Happened many times. Nary a whimper when it was powered up and switched on again.

the ipod was in my car hooked up on charge 24 /7 and the night before was working ok I parked the car at 11.45 pm and whent back at 8.00am

next morning and it didn't work my old ipod could be left like this for weeks without any problems

It's more likely to be a HDD problem, but that's a moot point. It doesn't work and needs to be replaced.
