I thought Interstellar was truly awesome when I saw it at the cinema (twice): visually, musically (epic Hans Zimmer soundtrack) and emotionally. Often I wait a few months for Bluray prices to be discounted a bit, but in this instance I pre-ordered the special edition - I just couldn't wait.

Get the disc if you want to give your subwoofer a good workout! :)

Subwoofers - dont forget those with plural :)

Looking forward to watching this over the weekend

Just received a note from Amazon that my copy is being delivered today. :)

Got it for £12.35! ;)

How did you, his dudeness and maybe Leeps get it for only £12.35? I use the website www.find-dvd.co.uk to find bargains (it also finds Blu-rays) and the cheapest that I can find online is £14.99.

I pre-ordered it right at the beginning. At some stage between pre-ordering and dispatch, the price fell to £13, which Amazon honoured. I've also got a 5% student discount attached to my Amazon account (for pursuing part time Masters programme), bringing the price down to £12.35. :)

I saw it for £13 pre order - do they take the payment straight away or only once they have sent it out?

Getting it from Tesco today hopefully.

There's a 10Gb BR rip floating around the bay that I nabbed last week. Seen the film at the cinema when it first released, gets you in the feels. Anyway great film.

Bought it last week on BR for around £16 eqv.

Not dissapointed, it's a remarkable film and a work of art to look at. Very very reminiscent of 2001.

Now it's back to SD on Netflix for 99% of my stuff (discounting the football)

:)
